My Services

Individual Therapy

Our first session will be dedicated to initial consultation and assessment.  We'll look at where you are right now and how you would like things to be.  I will work together with you collaboratively.  Sessions are action-oriented, and you will be required to actively engage in the sessions and do work between sessions.  Sessions are 60 minutes long and take place face-to-face at my clinic space in Romiley. 

It is important that we have a good rapport and can work well together in an environment where there is mutual trust, respect and understanding. For this reason, I schedule a free initial consultation call with all new clients (30mins online), where you can find out more about me and how I work, I can find out more about you, your individual needs and what you are hoping to achieve (your therapy goal).

Mindfulness Course (4weeks)

This 4 week "Introduction to Mindfulness" will teach you the basics in a simple and practical way so you can start incorporating mindfulness into your daily life to maintain good mental health and wellbeing, boost resilience, increase awareness and focus and find joy in the little things.

 

This is a group course and weekly sessions will be held live online.  Each week explores a different theme as follows: 

Week 1 - Automatic pilot

Week 2 - Dealing with difficulties

Wee 3 - Thoughts are just thoughts, not facts

Week 4 - How to best take care of yourself

 

Total course cost = £60

My Approach

I use an evidence-based, integrative approach (Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy or CBH for short) which integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques with hypnosis and mindfulness and acceptance based therapy (ACT).  I may use one of these modalities only or all of them depending on your individual needs and your specific goal. 

My Qualifications

  • Level 4 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (Dip. CBH, Approved by The British Psychological Society (BPS)

  • Certificate in Teaching Mindfulness

  • Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts

  • Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills (currently studying)

 

I am a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (MFHT) and an Accredited Member of The Association of Coaches, Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH).  I follow their code of practice and ethics.
